EquiTrace improves horse welfare. The EquiTrace app on a dedicated scanner confirms horse identity, provides GPS tracking and medical records, and with certain chips, temperature reading with a swipe of a scanner in the yard, in the field, on the track, in the sale room. EquiTrace also suggests appropriate times for standdown times for a wide range of treatments to avoid that positive drugs test. Correct horse identity and avoiding a positive drugs test is vital for valuable horses in high levels of competition, including racing, dressage, eventing, show jumping, endurance, quarter horse and more. EquiTrace is an Irish company, founded 2019 by specialist equine vets Dr Kevin Corley and Jennifer Corley with Dr Paul Hayton, app specialist.
